Examples of Previous Experience

Monitoring Annual Report

The Monitoring Program commenced in 1992 and involves the monitoring of storage capacity, water quality (physico-chemical variables, nutrients & metals/major Ions) and algal communities in major water storages throughout Northern Victoria. The objective of the program is to assist the major water authorities in examining the dynamics of the storages to ensure that optimal management practices are employed.

This report deals primarily with the storage capacity, water quality and Blue-Green algal (Cyanobacteria) communities each year and is aimed at examining the current state of the storages. Changes in storage capacity, water quality and Blue-Green algal communities over time are also assessed using ten years of historical data.

Horsham Wetland WQ Monitoring – ongoing quarterly program

Horsham collects runoff water in a series of wetlands across the city to reduce the amount of contaminants entering the receiving streams.  Sampling, analyses and reporting is carried out on the wetlands on a regular basis.

Dartmouth Annual Water Quality Report

Annual report considers long term monitoring in comparison to recent annual results. Several upstream and downstream monitoring sites were included with the surface and depth profile samples near the outlet in the report.
